Jeff Ryder's Story
Born in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Jeff grew up in a blue-collar atmosphere of tough, and hardworking people. Through the people of a local church-plant one block from his home, Jeff’s family was exposed to the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. Gaining an understanding of his responsibility for his own personal sin, Jeff gladly accepted Christ’s substitutionary death and gracious salvation at the age of 14 years old.
Growth in the truth of Scripture led Jeff into college, specialized missionary training and a life in ministry over the past 30+ years. With 25 years missionary experience and six years as a pastor in the USA, Jeff’s diverse ministry background has uniquely provided a platform for him to address many areas with experience and insight.
After several years of contemplating the concept, a unique opportunity surfaced for Jeff to launch findingthefew.org. Jeff desires to passionately encourage and challenge serious followers of Jesus in three distinct areas…
- A deeper relationship in Christ.
- Having a Christ-centered influence on the culture at large.
- Accepting the responsibility to reach the unreached worldwide.
By a social media presence and through speaking opportunities, he seeks to cultivate active participation in these areas to the present generation.
Jeff is also a certified Personal Fitness Trainer through American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.). He enjoys guiding people toward a healthy fitness lifestyle and for the discipleship opportunities it presents (1 Timothy 4:8).
37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."
