The Vision of the Few

…to the nations.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.” (NKJV)

—  Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20)

Resolute, active, harvest-minded Disciples of Jesus …

Must be concerned for the nations.

The Greek term ethnos means “a people group, as distinct from all others”.  It is the term from which we get our English term … ethnic.

Consider these statistics:

WORLD WIDE

7.5 Billion people*

6909 spoken languages**

Just over 2500 have a portion of the Bible translated in their native language.

FACT: Well over 4000 languages need translation work done.

The command of Christ to reach all the peoples of the world remains unfulfilled…

Who will be their advocates?

Will you?

Indigenous people groups continue to be unreached because of the tremendous obstacles that lay in the path to reaching them. Geographically, culturally and linguistically they are separated from the masses who exist in more densely populated regions of the world.  It takes special training. It takes years of investment.  It takes motivation. It takes a unique dedication.  It takes a willingness to be involved.

Will you consider getting involved in the cause of the reaching the remaining “nations” with the message of Christ?

Will you pray specifically for the cause?

Will you partner with a missionary and become a regular financial supporter?

Will you volunteer to go?

Will you be ONE of the few?
